A handful of the early Jizo Cats from the Kanji Collection are already printed, framed, and hanging on the wall in the new Jizo Cats studio. Here is just a small sampling of what’s to come
April has been a busy month of preparation. Videos have been shot, a new studio built, the website completed, Twitter and YouTube accounts on standby, about half of the first legion of Jizo Cats: Kanji Collection artwork drawn, fun experiences planned, and yet there is so much more to come.
For Japan lovers, a fantastic new video series will be shot in the streets, back alleys, shrines, parks, restaurants, and surroundings of Osaka. Look forward to Glimpses of Osaka – coming in May.
Perplexed, yet intrigued, by the myriad of Japanese kanji characters? Kanji Illustrated will feature many of the Jizo Cats: Kanji Collection images to give you an interesting look at, and a satisfying understanding of, the kanji characters.
Look forward to those two video series coming on the Jizo Cats YouTube channel in May.
